Brad Shaffer

Dr. H. Bradley Shaffer is an evolutionary biologist, systematist, and herpetologist in the Section of Evolution and Ecology at the University of California at Davis. We found his photograph of a cascade frog when we were searching for frog pictures on the Web. He was gracious enough to let us use it. Dr. Shaffer is one of the contributors to the Westward Frog site.

Sherry Woodley

After retiring as a technical writer, Sherry has devoted more time to her photographic passion, in addition to exhibiting her photo work at Triangle-area venues such as Artspace, Sertoma Arts Center, NC Botanical Garden, Page-Walker Arts & History Center, Cary Ballet Conservatory, Third Place Coffeehouse, Vineyard Café, Durham Arts Council, Cindy's House Cafe, and April & George. Her photos have been published in "The Village Rambler" magazine, "North Carolina" magazine, "The News & Observer," "The Cary News," and "Spectator." Sherry's photographic interests include printing her digital photos onto various types of archival art papers using archival pigment ink, hand-altering Polaroid Time-Zero prints to give them a painterly look (also called "Polaroid Manipulations"), hand-coloring digital prints with colored pencils, hand-tinting black and white fiber-based photographs with Marshall’s Oils, experimenting with various image transfer methods, incorporating her photos into collage/mixed media, and creating heritage art (altered art pieces that include family photos and memorabilia). Her email address is: swoodley@mindspring.com.
